Okay, I know this is like two weeks late. I'm sorry about that, but I've been busy. In fact I'm still busy but my parents are out of country so Im procrastinating. Yay! Ugh, I want to go to bed, not blog. But I will blog. ): mehhhg.
Okay, So Kyoto. Kyoto is EFFING AMAZING. (I know I sound like an obnoxious tween girl when I say this, but its true.) Kyoto has this old, slightly-disorganized (for Japan) oriental feeling that just makes you feel good. Know the feeling? Well, It's awesome. Okay, so to get to Kyoto we took the bullet train (which was really cool), and despite my fathers accusations of me being weird I tried out my first Bento box which looked some-what like this-
So basically they are little platters that have rice, some kind of meat, and then some weird unidentifiable things in a little bow (which I didn't try). It look's funky, it smells funky, but it sure does taste good. (:
So when we got to Kyoto we went to our adorable little hotel, The three sisters.
Isn't that a happy looking bunch of kids? Haha, anyways. The hotel was awesome, I felt like a true japanesse... girl? The best part though was that the blankets were HEATED! (which was amazing because it was FREEZING outside!)
So I'll do a couple more posts about Kyoto because I'm afraid I wont be able to fit it all in here!
